Word of Wisdom

 "Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered." Proverbs 28:26 ESV

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7 ESV

"Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her." Proverbs 3:13-15 ESV

"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 

And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it." [Matthew 7:24-27 ESV] 

Hark! The voice of Jesus Crying

 Hark! the voice of Jesus crying:

“Who will go and work today?

Fields are white and harvest waiting:

Who will bear the sheaves away?”

Loud and strong the Master calleth,

Rich reward He offers thee;

Who will answer, gladly saying,

“Here am I, send me, send me”?

If you cannot speak like angels,

If you cannot preach like Paul,

You can tell the love of Jesus,

You can say He died for all. 

If you cannot rouse the wicked 

With the judgement’s dread alarms,

You can lead the little children 

To the Saviour’s waiting arms.

Let none hear you idly saying, 

“There is nothing I can do”.

While the souls of men are dying,

And the Master calls for you. 

Take the task He gives you gladly,

Let His work your pleasure be;

Answer quickly when He calleth,

“Here am I: send me, send me!”
